When Huawei announced its new high-end terminals, the P30 Series, all eyes turned to the most expensive model, the Huawei P30 Pro. This is normal, given that the brand itself wants to boost what, to date, is its best mobile. But that does not mean that the Huawei P30 does not deserve a little attention, especially because after analyzing it for a while we have realized that, although it does not have the same benefits as its older brother, it can boast of having certain advantages over this, starting with the price.
Manageable, Elegant AndBalanced
Having been using a Huawei Mate 20 Pro for six months, the jump to the P30 Pro was an effort. The reason was that ergonomics were impaired as the P30 Pro was wider, less comfortable in the hand and larger. The Huawei P30 solves all that and does it without sacrificing much screen. Recently I was able to analyze the Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, a compact smartphone that for my taste falls short on the screen due to its diagonal. This P30 doesn’t have it much bigger, but it seems so.
More PowerThan Necessary
Although this model has less RAM and less storage than others of the brand, we must confess that it is not something we have repaired. The Kirin 980, the 6 GB of random memory, and the 128 GB of internal memory seem sufficient for any user, but it is true that on paper, we have again the feeling that brands give their best only on mobile phones more big. Neither games like HearthStone or Honkai Impact Third have given us problems, nor have we had crashes in applications like Instagram or Facebook.
The ScreenIsMoreConventional
It is curious how what most attracts the attention of the screen this mobile is not the diagonal or the resolution, not even its technology. What everyone likes is that it does not have the curved major sides. The Huawei P30 is very conservative in this aspect and has a completely flat panel, with a cutout at the top to accommodate the notch, which stores the front camera inside. Beyond that, we must emphasize that having a diagonal more compact than the P30 Pro, with 6.1 inches, and the same resolution of 2340 x 1080 px, the sharpness is greater. Of course, on paper because, at the moment of truth, they are almost identical screens.
